I learn something new each day! So, I thought I'd share any tidbits of information so that we can all learn together. :-)
This week, I've been reminded of the importance that REST plays in our health. While we sleep, our bodies rebuild cells. This sounds natural. OK. Yet, how often do we demand the "unnatural" from our bodies?? Imagine how many more cells need to be built and repaired after an abundance of exercise, a bought with a cold, excessive stress, a late night, etc.?
Or, maybe you are making a baby? How many cells are being formed there??
Perhaps there's an overwhelming circumstance that takes a lot of thought and concentration. That mental fatigue needs to be considered as well.
Give yourself a good dose of REST and see how much better your body will function.
